The National Biopharmaceutical Research Institute (NBRI) is a state research institution operating under the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Institute conducts scientific research and innovation activities in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, molecular biology, bioinformatics, pharmaceutical development, and advanced therapeutic technologies. NBRI was established through the integration of leading pharmaceutical and biomedical research centers to strengthen Uzbekistan's scientific and technological capacity in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
