What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Adjustments of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor plan vs actual
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and initiatives.
- Responsibility for other countries Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan: control and supporting month-end closing processes
- People management and development and successor planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant field
- Upper intermediate English – speaking, writing
- 2+Experience in people management, able to motivate the team and lead by example
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the same role
- Extensive corporate and accounting/ tax experience
- Must have knowledge of: IFRS. PL, balance sheet
- Communication skills
