Senior UI/UX Designer

The Opportunity

impactXtech is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the website redesign initiative for one of our most forward-looking clients. This is a hands-on, high-impact design role with the autonomy and trust to help define digital direction. You’ll work directly with client stakeholders in marketing, strategy, and development—and own the full UI/UX lifecycle from concept to delivery.

Currently, they’re undergoing a digital transformation and refreshing their digital presence—starting with a full website redesign.

What You’ll Do

• Own the UI/UX design process for the website, from discovery and research through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Shape and implement brand-aligned digital experiences that combine storytelling, function, and visual appeal.
• Collaborate with marketing, strategy, and tech teams to understand user needs and business goals.
• Push creative boundaries—this is not a paint-by-numbers design gig.
• Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and mobile-first.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to non-design stakeholders.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to other creatives as needed.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, strategic thinking, and execution.
• Proven experience leading website redesigns or similar large-scale design initiatives.
• Expertise in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• A strategic mindset and strong understanding of branding and digital storytelling.
• Experience designing responsive, accessible web experiences.
• A proactive, independent work style with the ability to manage your time and drive your work forward.
• Great communication and collaboration skills—you can translate ideas into action and bring others along.

Working Style

• 50% utilization (~20 hrs/week)
• 4+ hours of daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (ET)
• Expected start date: in ~2-3 weeks
