Responsibilities:
- 1. Assist Chinese civil engineers and local construction teams in daily communication and command at the construction site to ensure accurate communication of instructions.
- 2. Responsible for on-site interpretation work, including two-way translation during pre-class meetings, technical presentations, safety meetings and on-site inspections.
- 3. Written translation or interpretation of daily construction records, material lists, work contact forms, inspection forms and other engineering documents.
- 4. Assist civil engineers to track the progress of on-site construction and give feedback on the implementation of Ukrainian workers and on-site problems.
- 5. Coordinate and resolve on-site misunderstandings due to language differences, and handle simple personnel scheduling and material communication matters.
- 6. Cooperate with engineers to carry out on-site safety inspections, quality acceptance, and translation support in the disciplinary management of local employees.
- · Have good listening and speaking skills in Chinese and Uzbek/Russian (according to actual needs, usually Uzbek or Russian can be used), and can be competent for instant translation of construction sites.
- Familiar with or willing to learn common civil engineering terms (such as concrete pouring, steel bar binding, elevation, safety protection, etc.).
- · Hard-working and hard-working, able to adapt to the construction site environment (including outdoor, dust, noise, etc.).
- · Responsible and proactive communication awareness, able to assist engineers in managing on-site order under pressure.
- · Experience in construction, engineering, and translation is preferred; local nationality or legal work qualifications are preferred.
- · Depending on the work and rest time of the construction site, overtime or shifts may be required.
- · Provide necessary personal protective equipment (hard hats, reflective clothing, etc. are provided by the company).
