IT Teacher

• Deliver high-quality IT / Computer Science lessons in line with the Cambridge curriculum (e.g. Cambridge Lower Secondary ICT, IGCSE ICT/Computer Science, and progression towards A Level where appropriate)
• Design a structured teaching programme with clear learning objectives, milestones, and regular assessments
• Teach core computing concepts alongside practical skills — programming fundamentals, computational thinking, digital literacy, spreadsheets, databases, networks, and online safety
• Differentiate instruction for students at different starting points, ensuring every learner has a personalised route to mastery

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a closely related field
• Proven experience teaching IT / Computer Science, ideally within a Cambridge or other internationally recognised curriculum
• Strong working knowledge of core computing topics: programming (e.g. Python), computational thinking, networks, databases, and digital literacy
• Strong skills in lesson planning, assessment, and giving clear, actionable feedback to students
• Excellent written and spoken English; professional academic register in all communications
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high standards in a small-group, intensive setting
• High standards of personal conduct: punctuality, reliability, discretion, and professional integrity
